Built for the Projects That Can't Compromise.
Specialty sands, stones, and custom soil blends — supplied by Long Island's most trusted mining operation since 1953.

Seven Decades. One Standard.

East Coast Mines has been supplying the region's most demanding projects since 1953. Based on Long Island, we specialize in fine sands, crushed stone, and custom soil blends engineered to meet exacting specifications — from USGA spec greens mixes for championship golf courses to structural soil systems for landmark public parks across the NYC metro area.

Long Island's natural sand and clay deposits are among the highest quality in the Northeast — decades of hands-on expertise and close collaboration with landscape architects, USGA officials, and Cornell University's soil scientists, allowed us to help pioneer the custom soil blending standards used in major urban parks, athletic facilities, and golf course construction throughout the region.

We work exclusively with landscape contractors, construction teams, and project managers. If you have a spec to meet, we'll meet it.

Materials Built to Spec

We stock a full range of specialty aggregates and custom soil blends for landscape contractors, golf course construction, and large-scale public projects throughout Long Island and the greater New York area. All materials are available in bulk with delivery.
